What ManageWP is
ManageWP is a centralized control panel for maintaining many WordPress websites without logging into each one individually. It connects to each site through a lightweight worker plugin and then surfaces plugin, theme, and core updates, backups, and health data in a single interface.
Now owned by GoDaddy, ManageWP works with WordPress sites on any host, not only GoDaddy hosting. It is aimed at agencies, freelancers, and anyone responsible for a portfolio of WordPress sites.
How it works
After you install the free ManageWP Worker plugin on a site and add it to your dashboard, ManageWP can run one-click or bulk updates, on-demand and scheduled backups, uptime and performance monitoring, security scans, and SEO keyword tracking across every connected site.
Core features like one-click bulk updates and a single monthly backup are free and unlimited across sites. Premium add-ons—such as automated scheduled backups, white-label client reports, and hourly uptime checks—are billed per site or as bundles, so cost scales with how much automation you enable.
