What Sora is
Sora is a generative-AI model from OpenAI that turns text prompts into video. It produces short clips with coherent motion, characters, and scenes, and is used to prototype and produce video content that would otherwise require filming or manual animation.
How it works
Sora is a diffusion-style model trained on video and image data; it generates frames that stay consistent over time so motion and subjects hold together across a clip. You describe the shot, style, and action in a prompt, then refine — adjusting the wording to steer look, pacing, and composition.
How we use it
Zen in Tech uses Sora to design characters, atmosphere, and scenes for animated series — the raw visual base that other tools then animate and edit. On Meet Bob and Marge it helps establish the couple and their world so every episode stays on-brand. Prompts are engineered with Gemini and ChatGPT, and output is always reviewed before use.
