On-demand delivery app
A look at how we design and build multi-sided delivery platforms — customer app, driver app, live tracking and a dispatch back office — as one connected system.
The brief
The kind of problem we solve
On-demand delivery is deceptively complex: you’re really building three products at once — a customer-facing ordering app, a driver app with routing and proof of delivery, and an operations dashboard that ties them together in real time. Get the coordination wrong and orders stall, drivers idle, and support is buried.
Our job is to make that complexity invisible to everyone using it. We scope the smallest version that can run real deliveries, then expand — so you launch, learn from real usage, and grow the platform on evidence rather than guesswork.
What we build
One platform, three connected apps
Customer app
Browse, order, pay, and track deliveries live on a map with ETAs and push updates.
Driver app
Accept jobs, optimized routing, proof-of-delivery capture, and earnings tracking.
Dispatch dashboard
Real-time order queue, driver assignment, and operations analytics for the back office.
Payments & payouts
Secure checkout, tips, and automated driver payouts via Stripe Connect.
Stack
Technology
- React Native (iOS + Android)
- Node.js + PostgreSQL API
- Real-time tracking (WebSockets)
- Stripe payments
- Push notifications
- Admin & dispatch dashboard
Outcomes we design for
What “done right” looks like
We build these platforms to hit the metrics that make delivery businesses work: fast order-to-doorstep times, high driver utilization, low support load through self-service tracking, and reliable payments and payouts. Every build ships with monitoring and analytics so you can see and improve those numbers after launch.
