Firebase is a Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform from Google that gives developers ready-made backend infrastructure through managed APIs and SDKs. Instead of building and running servers, teams plug into hosted services for data, user accounts, files, and messaging. It is widely used for web, iOS, Android, and cross-platform apps, and integrates tightly with Google Cloud.
